A local taxi service, run by people who live here too
Book Melbourne Cabs was started to give Melbourne a taxi service that actually answers the phone and turns up on time.

Why we started this
We got tired of hearing the same complaints from friends and neighbours, taxis that never show, apps that cancel at the last minute, and fares that change halfway through the trip. Book Melbourne Cabs is our answer to that. Our drivers cover the whole of Melbourne, every suburb, every direction.
Whether it's an early flight, a hospital appointment, or just getting home safely after a night out, our goal is simple. Answer the phone, quote a fair price, and show up when we say we will.

A real person answers
Every call is picked up by someone who knows the local area, not an automated queue.
Clear, honest pricing
Local trips run on the regulated taxi meter, airport and long distance trips are quoted as a fixed fare before you travel. No hidden extras added at the end.
On time, every time we can be
If something changes, we call you, we don't just leave you waiting on the curb.
Care with vulnerable passengers
Extra patience and time for elderly riders, families and anyone who needs a hand.
Need a ride? We are one call away.
Airport runs, local trips or a long distance transfer, book online or call now and we will have a cab on the way.
